What cookies we use

We only use essential cookies: the site and dashboard can’t work without them, so there is nothing to accept or turn off. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, and no other company sets cookies through our site.

Essential

  • oneanswer_session: keeps you signed in and remembers form progress. Expires when you close your browser or after 2 hours of inactivity.
  • XSRF-TOKEN: protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Session length.
  • remember_web_*: only if you tick “Keep me signed in”. Up to 400 days.

How we count visits

We count page views on our own server, without cookies. To tell visitors apart for one day, we keep a fingerprint of your IP address and browser mixed with a random value that changes every day and is then deleted, so it can’t be turned back into your IP address or used to follow you from day to day. Fingerprints are deleted after a day; only daily totals are kept. If your browser sends “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control”, you aren’t counted at all.
