Do I need the phone receptionist to use the chatbot?
No. The Chat plan is the chatbot on its own, with no phone line or call minutes. You can add a phone line later and the receptionist keeps everything it has learned.
Where does it get its answers?
Only from what you give it: your website, documents, FAQs, prices and opening hours. When it doesn’t know, it says so and offers to pass the question to your team, and the question is saved so you can add the answer.
Can it really book appointments?
Yes. It checks your Oneanswer calendar for free times for the right service and person, confirms the details with the customer, then books it and sends a confirmation.
What if someone wants a person?
If your team is online they’re asked to join the chat straight away. If not, the customer leaves an email or number and your reply goes to them there.
Will it work on my website?
